Want to save your desktop layout in Windows? Many of you, after meticulously arranging all the icons on your desktop, have been frustrated to no end when Windows randomly re-arranges them. Note that Windows Me, 2000, and XP don't appear to have this problem. Here's a workaround: Obtain and install EzDesk. Note: If you are unable to move the icons on your desktop, right-click on an empty portion of the destkop, click Arrange Icons, and turn off Auto-Arrange.

One trick when using Google is to use the built in phonebook search functionality. Try the rphonebook: and bphonebook: searches for up to 30 results per page. rphonebook: will search only residential listings and bphonebook: will search only business listings.
